Sarah-Jane is an accredited psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, and EMDR therapist working as Counselling Case Manager at Rape Crisis Midwest.

She supports and coordinates the clinical work of psychotherapists and volunteer counsellors, ensuring safe, ethical, and trauma-informed practice across the service. She holds a Master’s Degree in Integrative Psychotherapy and a Higher Postgraduate Diploma in Psychotherapy, and is accredited with the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) as both a psychotherapist and supervisor.

Sarah-Jane works from a relational, trauma-informed, and integrative approach, with a strong emphasis on safety, trust, consent, and choice.

She brings over 15 years’ experience in psychotherapy across the community and voluntary sector and private practice, alongside extensive experience in clinical supervision, service development, and supporting survivors of sexual violence, complex trauma, and social and systemic marginalisation. She is currently completing a Doctorate in Psychotherapy at Dublin City University, with research focused on trauma-informed practice and social justice.
